Before attending a ChallengeHER event, we strongly recommend you become familiar with the WOSB Federal Contracting Program by watching the webinars below provided by course instructor Sean Crean, Director, Office of Government Contracting, U.S. Small Business Administration.

The WOSB Federal Contracting Program went into effect in 2011 and provides access to federal contracting opportunities for women-owned small businesses (WOSBs) and economically disadvantaged women-owned small businesses (EDWOSBs). The program also provides contracting officers with a mechanism to set aside certain federal contracts for eligible WOSB and EDWOSB concerns.

The most current and detailed information on the WOSB Program is available on SBA’s website at www.sba.gov/wosb.
